Me and 6 of my friends came here for my birthday and we ordered the whole nine yards meal. The food was amazing and everything felt high quality. All the meats were perfectly made. The place was set up for our group and wasn't too small for us. We all had an amazing time there. Server was nice and was very efficient in a good way.

I live close by but never had the chance to check out this place. Visited on a random day after work, ordered a standard signature burger with sweet potato fries, and OMG it was way above my expectation! Crispy fries, juicy and huge beef patty with some caramelized onions. Also great service, was welcomed and served with smile. Definitely will come back soon!
We were a group of 4 and we got the Three Yard group meal. It was fantastic! The brisket and Lamb Shank were so tender and tasty! All the sauces were great, the mac and cheese, mushroom confit, curly fries and coleslaw were also very good. The staff was very accommodating and we got water refills super quick without even asking. We will be back to try the other stuff in the menu!
We had an amazing time at The Backyard Smokehouse, a true paradise for smoked meat lovers! The atmosphere is fantastic, cozy yet stylish. We ordered the 6 Yard and wow, what a feast! Easily enough to satisfy a group of 5-6 people. The quality, flavor, and presentation were all top-notch. Located right in the heart of Square One. What really set the visit apart was the outstanding service, special thanks to Jude, Bashar, and Hareth for making us feel welcome.
I ate at The Backyard Smokehouse today and everything was excellent! The brisket was amazing, tender and flavorful. The mini burgers stuffed with brisket were a highlight too. Ribs, sausages, and their selection of sauces were all on point. I also really enjoyed the sides: poutine, mac & cheese, salad, mashed potatoes, and curly fries, all delicious. Definitely a spot I'd recommend if you love BBQ and hearty comfort food!
Went here for Mother's Day this past weekend, food was excellent! We enjoyed the brisket poutine, Mac n' cheese, the backyard burger, chef yard burger, holy hen sandwich and got the tenders combo for our younger son. We also got the pomegranate mojito, strawberry mango lemonade and the Biscoff milkshake. Food came out pretty quickly, was hot and fresh and portion sizes are very generous. Definitely a must try!
We had such a great experience at The Backyard Smokehouse in Edmonton. Everything from the service to the food was just spot on. The manager, Syed, was super welcoming. The best brisket we've ever had, perfectly smoked, tender, and packed with flavor. And it's all halal, which made it even better for us. The portions are unreal. Great atmosphere, amazing service, and food that actually lives up to the hype. This place is 100% worth it and we'll definitely be coming back.
We travelled almost 6 hours to get to Edmonton and decided to try the buffet at The Backyard Smokehouse, and it was absolutely worth it. The food was fresh, flavorful, and you could really taste the quality in every dish. A special mention to Mr. Syed for the excellent service. He was very welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had a great dining experience. When someone travels that far and leaves satisfied, that says a lot. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Edmonton.
Our first visit to this amazing restaurant was beyond expectations. I felt very comfortable and welcomed. We arrived late at 10 PM, close to their 11 PM closing time, but the staff was incredibly patient and didn't rush us at all. The food was delicious and 100% Halal, and the place was spotless. The manager was very humble and personally checked on us. They host all kinds of events like weddings, birthdays, and kids' parties. Highly recommended for their exceptional service and great atmosphere!
